Bounce rate is nothing but the percentage of your website visitors leaving the website directly from the landing page.
What does that mean ?
Google’s word : Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions (i.e. sessions in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with the page).
Do we require high bounce rate?
Of course not. We want our visitors to stay in the site and that is what for we have designed our website.
How it helps?
Look into your Google Analytics and check the bounce rate of your site. And you suddenly jumped with joy “Oh- Its 80%”. Hold on. Think again, are you happy that 80% of your website visitor left your website entrance page (it can be home page or any other page) from your website without visiting any other page of your site.
It depends on your intention. That single page visitor might make you happy in case your intention is not keeping your visitor busy with your website only.
